An important water supply infrastructure project has been successfully completed in the Trostyanets community. In the village of Buymer village, the complete replacement of the Rozhnovsky water tower—which supplies water to over 200 local residents—has been finalized.
The old tower sustained significant damage during hostilities in 2022 and had been in a state of disrepair for a long time, posing serious risks to a stable water supply. Thanks to cooperation with the international humanitarian organization VPINO “ACTED Branch,” the problem was successfully resolved.

As part of the project, funded by donors, a new Rozhnovsky tower was manufactured and installed, and 120 meters of new water mains were laid. This not only restored the system but also significantly improved its reliability.
As noted by Andriy Samoday, director of the municipal enterprise “Trostyanetskomservice,” work to improve water supply services does not end here.
Already this year, in cooperation with international and Ukrainian charitable organizations, plans are in place to continue replacing damaged water towers in Trostyanets.
Additionally, the installation of new towers and the repair of existing ones in the villages of Bilka and Vyshneve are scheduled for 2027.
We would like to thank the international humanitarian organization VIPINO “ACTEED Branch” for its invaluable assistance in ensuring a reliable water supply to the residents of the Trostyanets community! We look forward to continued fruitful cooperation in supporting the critical infrastructure of the centralized water supply and wastewater management systems in the Trostyanets region during wartime, as well as after our Victory!
Ensuring a stable and high-quality water supply remains one of the city government’s top priorities. It is important for us to restore comfortable living conditions for the people who continue to live and work in the community despite all the challenges of wartime, as well as to develop and improve the quality of life for the residents of Trostyanets city hromada!
