Trostyanets city hromada continues to strengthen the material and technical base of its public utility enterprises through cooperation with international partners. Today, city received a modern aerial lift (based on an IVECO vehicle), which will help utility services perform their work more efficiently.

Mayor Yuriy Bova personally inspected the new equipment and noted: “In these difficult times of war, our community constantly faces new challenges. These include emergency roof repairs following enemy strikes, the removal of damaged trees, and the performance of many other tasks at height. That is precisely why a modern aerial work platform was so desperately needed by us. It will significantly expand the capabilities of our municipal services and help us respond to the community’s needs more quickly and effectively”.

Yuriy Samoday, Deputy Director of the “Clean City” municipal enterprise, explained that the company had long needed such equipment:
“There are about four thousand streetlights in the community that require constant maintenance and repair. The new aerial lift will allow us to perform this work much more efficiently. In addition, we currently have over 300 requests to remove hazardous trees, and we were unable to fulfill all of them due to the limited technical capabilities of our old equipment. Now the company will have significantly more capacity to carry out such tasks“.

The aerial work platform is equipped with a modern lifting platform with a working height of 24.5 meters, safety and stabilization systems, and features convenient electro-hydraulic controls accessible directly from the cab and the basket. This will ensure the safe and efficient performance of work at height.

The transfer of this equipment was made possible through the implementation of an international technical assistance project by the “Partnership for a Strong Ukraine” Foundation, with support from the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) and Chemonics Group UK Limited.
Trostyanets City Council expresses its sincere gratitude to the “Partnership for a Strong Ukraine” Foundation and all partners who contributed to the implementation of this important project. Thanks to this support, our hromada continues to recover, develop, and improve the quality of services for its residents.
