Trostyanets community continues to develop its partnership with USAID Project “HOVERLA” , which is being implemented in Ukraine thanks to United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the sincere support of the American people.
Today, Trostyanets received vital humanitarian technical assistance from the HOVERLA project / USAID project in Ukraine – a new powerful grader! This will significantly improve the improvement of rural settlements in our community and the private sector of the city.
“Until today, our municipal enterprises did not have their own grader, and had to hire one, spend money on it, and wait for their turn for grading. From now on, the situation with grading dirt roads will improve significantly,” says Yuriy Bova, Trostyanets city mayor.

– Last year, while on a working visit to Denver and Washington with colleagues, we had a meeting with the management of the Hoverla project and emphasized the importance of including Sumy region in this project. Speaking on various platforms, they talked about the importance of technical support for the communities of Sumy region. We are grateful that our American friends heard us and started helping to restore the communities!
If the weather is favorable, road grading will begin this fall, in the coming days. In winter, the grader will be used to clear roads of snow. In the spring, it will start working in the villages, as soon as the weather permits! The work will be carried out qualitatively, each street will be given maximum attention.
Trostyanets city mayor Yuriy Bova, on behalf of all Trostyanets residents, on his own behalf and on behalf of all our municipal workers, expresses gratitude to the reliable partners of Trostyanets city hromada – the USAID HOVERLA Project, to the American people for their support of Ukraine, for helping our community in its restoration!
