Trostyanets city hromada continues to receive important support from international partners. One of our community’s reliable friends, which has been lending a helping hand practically since the liberation of Trostyanets, is the international charity fund AICM (France – Ukraine). It is headed by Christian Carrer, a French citizen who sincerely empathized with Ukraine’s fate during its most difficult times.
This time, the cooperation resulted in another significant aid package. The foundation delivered a large shipment of humanitarian aid to our community, which is extremely important for the stable operation of medical facilities, especially during power outages.

The aid included three powerful generators: one with a capacity of 22 kW for the Primary Health Care Center, and two generators with capacities of 30 and 60 kW for the Trostyanets City Hospital. In addition, medical facilities received medicines, medical instruments, and hygiene products. Three Bluetti charging stations were donated to the city council.
The humanitarian cargo was personally delivered to Trostyanets by Christian Carrer, founder of the AICM Foundation. It should be noted that this aid shipment also included generators and medicines for the communities of Konotop, Putivl, and Shostka. They were handed over to their recipients in Trostyanets. Thus, our city became not only a recipient of aid, but also a kind of logistics hub through which partners support other communities in the Sumy region.

During a meeting with the philanthropists, Mayor Yuriy Bova thanked the partners for their continued support:
“We are sincerely grateful to the president of the foundation, Christian Carrer, who constantly takes care of our needs, helps to restore medical infrastructure, and does not leave Trostyanets without attention. Our community feels his support not only in words but also in real deeds.”
Svitlana Loboda, director of the Trostyanets City Council’s Trostyanets Primary Health Care Center, noted that the new generator will provide reliable support for the facility’s work during power outages.
“This will enable doctors to see patients without interruption, conduct necessary laboratory tests, and provide comprehensive medical care. We have also received medicines for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases, as well as diapers and urological pads. These drugs will be given to patients free of charge during appointments with family doctors,” she said.

Alla Chernet, head nurse at Trostyanets City Hospital, added that the medicines received will be used to treat patients who are undergoing inpatient treatment in hospital wards.
In these difficult times for the country, every bit of help is especially important. Every box of medicine, every generator, every visit by volunteers is not just humanitarian aid, but a sign of great international support that helps Ukrainian communities survive and recover.
The Trostyanets City Council expresses its sincere gratitude to Christian Carrer and the AICM Charitable Foundation for their constant support, compassion, and assistance to our community. We look forward to further fruitful cooperation and new joint initiatives to support the residents of Trostyanets. Together, we are stronger!
