Continuing to share key events from last week’s visit to Switzerland. In addition to studying energy efficiency in urban management through examples from various Swiss cities, we had the opportunity to establish a partnership and sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with HUB Rebuild Ukraine | Switzerland (Zug, Switzerland)!
Together with Oksana Marusenko, President of HUB Rebuild Ukraine | Switzerland, and co-founder Adrian Heimberg, we discussed the current and strategic needs of the community, as well as key priorities for the reconstruction and development of the Trostyanets city hromada.

Recognizing the urgent need for sustainable recovery and investment in Ukraine following the devastation caused by the war, and sharing a common vision for rebuilding through innovative, high-quality, and environmentally responsible practices, we signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
Key Areas of Future Cooperation
The primary focus of our collaboration will be attracting investments and implementing environmentally sustainable solutions through Swiss innovations and expertise. The partnership aims to facilitate knowledge transfer, project development, and investment attraction to ensure an effective and high-quality reconstruction process.

AREAS OF COOPERATION
The cooperation under this Memorandum includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Support for public and private reconstruction projects
- Active involvement in restoring key infrastructure, housing, and commercial facilities.
- Assistance in securing financial and material resources for reconstruction initiatives.
- Knowledge transfer in project management and quality assurance
- Providing expert knowledge on modern project management methodologies.
- Ensuring quality control and adherence to international standards in reconstruction efforts.
- Facilitating investment in various sectors
- Identifying potential investors and establishing connections with relevant reconstruction projects.
- Creating investment opportunities that support sustainable development.
- Sustainable waste management solutions with Swiss innovations
- Consulting and implementing waste recycling and management solutions.
- Promoting circular economy principles in the reconstruction process.
- Establishing networks for digital transformation and resource management projects
- Creating joint platforms for knowledge exchange.
- Encouraging digital innovations and best practices in resource management based on Swiss models.

We have already agreed on the initial project directions where our cooperation will begin. These include waste recycling, comprehensive rehabilitation of affected individuals, construction of shelters, and other initiatives. Work on each of these areas is already in progress.
There is still much work ahead to achieve tangible results! However, the first steps have been taken, and this is a crucial milestone for Trostyanets!
Together we will rebuild Ukraine!
