It is known that the building of the Trostyanets City Hospital suffered perhaps the greatest destruction as a result of the criminal actions of the occupiers. After the deoccupation, the premises were in terrible condition, doctors were unable to receive patients in the outpatient department, so the dentists’ offices were temporarily placed on the second floor of the children’s department.
In early 2023, renovation work began in the premises on the first floor of the inpatient department of the Trostyanets City Hospital. Two modern dental offices, a waiting room, and an office for medical personnel have been equipped here.

Furniture, equipment, and two modern dental units have already been installed in the new offices. One unit was received from the Blagomay charitable foundation, the other from the Swiss volunteer organization.
“Our task today is to do everything possible to ensure that the hospital can survive in the conditions of modern medical reform, so that doctors can work, and community residents can receive medical services directly on the territory of the community. Therefore, we are trying to provide the hospital with modern equipment, and doctors with good working conditions“, – said mayor of Trostyanets city, Yuriy Bova, – because to earn the loyalty of patients, it is not enough to provide quality dental services alone.
It is important that these services are carried out on the most modern equipment, which, at just one glance, inspires the patient’s trust and desire to agree to the treatment or procedure you offer. We recently received an ultra-modern dental unit from our Swiss partners. It was donated by a Swiss volunteer organization, whose volunteer – a professional dentist – found us a unit for a dental office, model S300, from the company Stern Weber. This unit is filled with multimedia equipment, screens and is equipped with everything necessary for the quality work of a dentist”.

“Since the outpatient department was badly damaged by shelling, and dentists are currently working in premises unsuitable for this, we decided to equip dental offices on the first floor of the inpatient department,” noted Anatoliy Plakhtyrya, General Director of the Trostyanets City Hospital, “the necessary communications have been installed, the offices have been renovated, and the necessary furniture and equipment have been purchased. UAH 770,000 was spent from the Trostyanets City Hospital budget to equip two offices, a waiting room for patients, and an office building“.
In a few days, dentists will begin to fully provide medical services for dental treatment and prosthetics in new offices, where both patients and doctors will feel comfortable and cozy.

The work in the dental department does not end there; in the future, offices for three more dentists, including a pediatrician, will be equipped.
