Our friends from Switzerland and Germany assisted in the purchase of 20 bicycles for Trostyanets’ children

    Our friends from Switzerland and Germany not only assisted in the purchase of buses and bicycles, but had load it with useful cargo for a healthy lifestyle – bicycles!!!

    20 beautiful, almost new bicycles, new helmets also arrived to Trostyanets!!!

    And we are grateful to our friends from Switzerland USB United for Support and Belonging, and Олена Тихоненко for finding equipment and organizing the transfer of aid from one of the Swiss charitable foundations.

    Also, thanks to our friends from Germany Hans Strack-Zimmermann and Markus Wasmeier for participating in the purchase of bicycles and helmets, organizing everyday life and long-standing friendship with Trostyanets city hromada!

    From now on, at our base NESKUCHNE, our schoolchildren will be able to ride and engage in cycling!!! Rental is also possible for families of Trostianets residents or our guests, IDPs. And of course for our military!

    Once again, on behalf of the entire city hromada, thank our friends for their support and help in restoring community life!!!

    Mayor of Trostyanets City. Received the degree in engineering for the construction of highways and airfields from Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. He has more than 24 years work experience. Since 1993 to February 2005 he has been a Founder and Director of small private enterprise Mercurij. In 1998 and 2002, he was elected Deputy of the Trostyanets City Council. In 2005 he has been elected Secretary of the Trostyanets City Council. He was elected Major of Trostyanets City in May 2005. The confidence rating Mayor Bova has received reached 70% during the last election.

    Yuriy Bova is currently a Vice-president of the Association of Open Cities, Vice-president of the Mayors Club, Member of the Board of the Association of Small Cities, Honorary President of the Trostyanets Entrepreneurs Union, Founder of Trostyanets Regional Charity Foundation “Dobrota”.

    He is the author of many publications on the development of entrepreneurship and local self-government.
