These days, another important project aimed at improving the quality of water supply for residents of the community has been completed. On Dokuchaeva Street in Trostyanets, the Rozhnovsky water tower, which provides water to residents of the “Hay” microdistrict, was completely replaced. The previous structure was in critical technical condition and could cause water supply interruptions. Thanks to the cooperation of the Trostнanets City Council with the NGO “Camino”, this problem was quickly resolved.

As part of the project, benefactors financed the manufacture and installation of a new water tower, as well as the installation of a modern 15 kW solar power plant. For uninterrupted operation of the water intake, the system was additionally equipped with 15 kW batteries and a 10 kW inverter.
Director of the Municipal enterprise “TrostyanetsKomunService” Andriy Samoday noted that during periods of high solar activity in spring and summer, the solar power plant will be able to fully provide the water tower with electricity. In the winter and during possible emergency power outages, the system will also remain operational thanks to the accumulation of energy in batteries. In addition, if necessary, a generator can be connected to the system, which will allow residents of the Haivskyi microdistrict to have a stable water supply even in the absence of electricity.
Work on the modernization of the water supply system in our hromada continues. This year, in cooperation with Ukrainian and international partners, further replacement of emergency water towers in Trostyanets is planned. Also, repairs and installation of new towers in the villages of Bilka and Vyshneve are planned for 2027.
Trostyanets City Council expresses its sincere gratitude to NGO “Camino” for its support in strengthening the critical infrastructure of the municipality and assistance in providing residents with high-quality and stable water supply. Cooperation with such partners is extremely important both during the period of military challenges and for the further restoration and development of the community after the Victory.
Ensuring reliable water supply and energy independence of critical infrastructure facilities remains one of the key areas of work of the city government. Trostyanets city continues to work to ensure that residents, even in difficult wartime conditions, have comfortable and safe living conditions.
