Drinking water security is a strategic issue for Ukraine today, especially when Russia has demonstrated that it can block entire cities, creating a threat of famine and access to basic needs, and today it is purposefully destroying the country’s critical infrastructure. Unfortunately, the threats will only increase.
With the support of the European Union in Ukraine, the Trostyanets city hromada received 3 mobile stations for purifying fresh water from rivers and lakes, wells and water pipes “Oasis S300” from the Ukrainian manufacturer “EcoSoft” LLC and tanks for its storage with a volume of 500 and 1000 liters.
The stations are equipped with generators and can completely autonomously purify up to 1000 m3 per day, taking water from any natural reservoirs.

This support is part of the efforts to assist partner communities in hosting and caring for IDPs, which is being implemented within the framework of the project “EU Resilience Regions Programme – Special Support Programme for Ukraine“, co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Government of Germany and implemented by GIZ.
We thank our international partners, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and GIZ Ukraine, for such important support to our community in difficult times of martial law, when any contribution to the reconstruction of the community is the next step towards victory!
