The Trostyanets community continues to receive important support from international partners during this difficult time for the country. Recently, the community received humanitarian aid – five 6.5 kW generators donated by the Stand with Ukraine foundation and the charitable organization “Charitable Foundation ‘Reunification’ as part of the charity initiative ”Warmth from Poland for Ukraine.”
This is a large-scale international project to support Ukrainian communities, which has brought together Polish businesses, entrepreneurs, and concerned citizens. As part of the initiative, funds were raised in Poland to purchase 400 generators for Ukrainian cities and communities most affected by power outages.
The generators will help strengthen the energy resilience of the Trostyanets community, which has recently been suffering from daily enemy shelling of energy infrastructure facilities. In particular, the recent shelling caused a power outage for almost a day, which once again confirmed the importance of having alternative power sources in the community!
According to Oleksiy Kotko, head of the housing and utilities, construction, improvement, and energy management department of the Trostyanets City Council, most of the generators received will be transferred to community resilience centers and warming centers.

“These generators will be transferred to the Trostyanets community’s resilience centers and warming centers. As we can see, in the current unstable situation, when the community may find itself without power every day, it is necessary to have a supply of generators in these institutions. Here, people will be able to recharge their gadgets, eat, spend the night, etc. In addition, one of the generators will be transferred to the water intake on B. Khmelnytsky Street so that the residents of the Vesele settlement are not left without water supply during blackouts,” said Oleksiy Kotko.
Such assistance is extremely important for the community, as it allows us to meet the basic needs of residents even during periods of prolonged power outages. We will be able to support the operation of critical infrastructure and create comfortable conditions for people during emergencies.
We are infinitely grateful to the Stand with Ukraine Foundation, and the entire Polish people for their solidarity, support, and assistance to Ukraine.
It is thanks to your compassion that we are receiving the much-needed equipment that helps us endure these difficult times.
We thank everyone who has joined this initiative. May your kindness be rewarded a hundredfold, and may our cooperation continue to grow stronger for the sake of our common goal—peace, security, and the restoration of Ukraine!
