Trostyanets municipality’s volunteer fire brigades today received new equipment, which is crucial for carrying out their day-to-day firefighting duties.
This was made possible thanks to the support of The Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU), which is funded by the governments of the United Kingdom, Estonia, Canada, Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Sweden.

Generators, a motorised pump, wrenches for fire hydrants, high-pressure fire hoses and other fire-fighting equipment will undoubtedly be essential for the work of the Volunteer Fire Brigades operating in hromada’s five village starostats, as they will improve the effectiveness of fire-fighting and the response to other emergencies within our municipality.
“The humanitarian aid received will be distributed amongst the volunteer fire brigades of Buimer, Bilka, Martynivka, Pechyn and Kam’yanka in accordance with their requests”, – says Ivan Dats’ko, director of the “Volunteer Fire Brigade” municipal institution.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the team of The Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU) for their successful and long-standing cooperation, solidarity and concrete actions in supporting the livelihoods of Trostyanets city hromada during the war.

The Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU) helps strengthen Ukraine’s resilience in the face of Russian aggression by supporting hromadas most affected by the war. Funded by some of Ukraine’s closest international partners and working closely with the Government of Ukraine, we help people, local institutions and hromadas continue functioning under pressure while laying the foundations for long-term recovery.
War affects far more than physical infrastructure. It disrupts public services, weakens local economies, strains trust and makes long-term planning more difficult. We therefore work across several interconnected areas, including restoring critical infrastructure and essential public services, supporting local governance and recovery planning, strengthening safety and protection, sustaining economic activity, advancing accessibility and inclusion, preserving memory, and reinforcing culture, identity and social cohesion.
