United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) provided significant assistance to our hromada. To ensure backup and autonomous power supply for the Primary Health Care Center, city received modern energy equipment: solar panels with a total capacity of 15 kW, a 20-kW inverter, and batteries with a capacity of 84 kWh.
“In the context of war, we must be prepared for any challenges. Power outages should not halt the work of medical facilities, because people need help regardless of whether the grid is providing power or not. Installing a solar power plant on the roof of the Primary Health Care Center will allow us to provide it with a more reliable and autonomous power source. We are sincerely grateful to UNICEF for this vital support for our community,” – said Deputy Mayor Maksym Synyavin.
This equipment will be an important step toward energy independence for one of the city’s medical facilities. Amid the war and regular attacks on energy infrastructure, having backup power sources is particularly important. After all, even during prolonged power outages, the medical facility will be able to continue operating and provide necessary care to community residents!
Trostyanets city hromada is systematically working to strengthen its energy autonomy by installing backup power systems and solar power plants at key social and critical infrastructure sites.
We sincerely thank UNICEF for its ongoing attention to the needs of Trostyanets city, for its support, and for its significant contribution to strengthening our resilience!
