Trostyanets city continues to receive international technical assistance from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the project “EU Resilience Regions Program – Special Support Program for Ukraine“. Last month, the first part of medical equipment arrived in Trostyanets, today – the second part worth 350 thousand dollars, provided by our German partners.
“The cooperation of the Trostyanets City Council with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH continues,” said Mayor Yuriy Bova. “As part of this cooperation, an operating table, electrocardiographs, and ultrasound diagnostic devices have already been received. Today, laboratory, rehabilitation, and other modern equipment manufactured in Austria, Switzerland, and other European countries has arrived. This equipment will allow medical workers to provide high-quality medical care to patients in the premises of a new modular polyclinic, the construction of which will begin in the near future. I thank Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for its cooperation and hope that more than one large-scale project will be implemented within the framework of this cooperation, which will qualitatively improve the lives of our Trostyanets city hromada”.
According to the report of the General Director of the Trostyanets City Hospital, Anatoly Plakhtyria, the premises of the hospital’s polyclinic were seriously damaged during military operations in March last year, so today doctors are receiving patients in in different premises that are not adapted for this. But this creates considerable inconvenience. Work is now being completed on the construction of a modular polyclinic with an area of about 900 sq.m. on the territory of the hospital, where doctors will be able to provide medical care to patients using this advanced medical equipment.

The construction of the clinic took place within the framework of the project “Special Support Program for Ukraine” from GIZ Ukraine.
Trostyanets City Council expresses its gratitude to German partners GIZ Ukraine for the assistance provided to our doctors to provide quality medical services, for other projects that are already being implemented in our community and throughout Ukraine. We wish you peace, success, prosperity and development!
