“Mondelēz Ukraine” та “Blagomay” renovated the biology and chemistry classroom at school No.3

    Spacious, bright, equipped with modern equipment – this is exactly what the learning space is now, in which children will be able to conduct experiments, observe the microworld, study the laws of nature and develop their own scientific projects.

    The renovation of the classroom and the renewal of the material base became possible thanks to the support of PrJSC “Mondelis Ukraine” and the Charitable Foundation “Blagomai”. New microscopes, test tubes, chemical reagents, a fume hood, and everything necessary for high-quality study of natural sciences are now at the disposal of schoolchildren.

    The story of this success began in April 2025, when students of grades 7–10 of the Trostyanets branch took part in the “STEAM: The Path to Innovation” competition, organized by PrJSC “Mondelis Ukraine” and the “Blagomai” Foundation. The project developed by the schoolchildren – “Ecological Soap for Children” became the winner.

    This success was the basis for the award – a renovated biology and chemistry classroom.
    The grand opening was attended by guests of honor: Trostyanets City Mayor Yuriy Bova; representatives of PJSC “Mondelis Ukraine”: Konstantin Starosyla, Production Section Manager, and Natalia Shiyan, HR Manager; Head of the Education Department of the Trostyanets City Council Anna Zubova; Director of Lyceum No. 3 Larysa Lampak; Branch Manager Olga Otrokhova, teachers and students.

    During the visit, the schoolchildren held an improvised open lesson for the guests, where everyone had the opportunity to try themselves as young scientists: they conducted chemical reactions, observed cells under a microscope and discussed the results.

    Trostyanets City Mayor Yuriy Bova thanked the sponsors for their comprehensive support of educational institutions and assistance, and emphasized:

    “I was sincerely impressed by the development of our children: ecological children’s soap. This is a great example of how learning can bring real benefits. I believe that this idea needs to be developed: to receive certificates, perhaps even to establish production for kindergartens or to create our own souvenir products. Initiatives to provide educational institutions with modern educational materials are an investment in the future of the community, because our children grow up creative, purposeful, learn to explore the world and realize their dreams in this world“.

    Konstantin Starosyla, representative of PJSC “Mondelez Ukraine”, noted:

    “We always support projects that develop children’s creativity and scientific thinking. Seeing the eyes of schoolchildren who want to experiment light up is the best reward for us”.

    Larisa Lampak, director of Lyceum No. 3, thanked the benefactors:

    “This is a real holiday for us. We are grateful to everyone who participated in the creation of this space of knowledge. The students can’t wait for the real laboratory research to begin!”

    Since 2010, she has been working in the Executive Committee of the Trostyanets City Council. During several terms, she was repeatedly elected as the Managing Affairs Officer (Secretary) of the Executive Committee.     Over the years, she has shown herself as a responsible, systematic, and professional manager who is able to ensure effective coordination of executive bodies, organization of the city council’s work, and stable functioning of administrative processes. She pays great attention to the development of staff potential, building a professional team, improving executive discipline, and introducing modern approaches to personnel management. In her professional activity, she combines strategic thinking, organization skills, a practical approach, and a deep understanding of the community’s needs.
