Yuriy Bova, Mayor of Trostyanets city hromada, Participated in the international partnership forum “Friends of Ukraine“, which brought together representatives of local governments and international partners from several countries: Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany.
The purpose of the event was to develop cooperation between communities and associations of different countries with Ukrainian cities and discuss joint projects for the future.
For two days, the forum participants discussed ways to develop intermunicipal cooperation, exchanged experience of implemented initiatives, and established personal contacts for the implementation of various measures for the development of Ukrainian municipalities.
As part of the forum, on behalf of the Trostyanets city, he concluded an important memorandum of cooperation with the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations of Italy.
Also he met with representatives of many cities and Associations of Spain and Italy. We talked with representatives of their media about the reconstruction and needs of our community
This meeting opened up opportunities for new partnerships for our community, the implementation of joint projects in the fields of education, infrastructure, healthcare and rehabilitation of our children. The desire of foreign partners to help rebuild destroyed communities is important
The Friends of Ukraine Forum has become yet another proof that Ukrainian communities, despite all the challenges, are able to build effective partnerships and work towards the future reconstruction and development of Ukraine!
