Offers to investors: Investments in construction of solar and wind power plants

The landscape of electricity generation is undergoing a significant shift towards renewable energy.

Wind and solar power have outpaced all other energy sources, marking a transformative period in how we produce electricity. This rapid growth has reached a critical point where it’s outstripping the increase in global energy demand, hinting at a future where fossil fuels could take a back seat.

Renewable energy, particularly wind and solar, contributed to 30% of the world’s electricity supply last year, a historic high. However, despite these milestones, there’s an urgency to boost the rate at which clean energy sources are deployed.

To reach global targets, renewable energy capacity must triple by 2030.

Taking into account the positive example of the construction of a 5.7 MW solar power plant by German investors LLC “Global Green Energy Solar I”, the city council analyzed potentially possible places for the placement of renewable energy (sun/wind).

Thus, 10 land plots with a total area of 122.5 hectares have been identified in the municipality for the potential construction of solar and wind power plants with an area of from 2 to 36.2 hectares.

When determining the specified areas, it was taken into account that a transformer substation should be located in the immediate vicinity or at a small distance from them to discharge the generated electricity into the power system.

The amount of land rent in 2025 prices is $ 400 per 1 ha. In accordance with the land legislation of Ukraine, land plots are leased for these purposes without an auction.

Sales markets: local consumers and the wider energy market of neighboring regions; in the future – expansion of network connections.

Connection: in cooperation with the distribution system operator, the community provides support for technical conditions and land management.

In the recent year, there’s been a notable uptick in the amount of electricity generated by solar power, vastly outpacing the new power contributions from coal.

Specifically, the proportion of solar power in the global energy landscape climbed to 5.5%, showing a noteworthy increase from the preceding year’s 4.6%. Meanwhile, wind power’s contribution held steady, accounting for 7.8% of the global electricity supply. The growth rate of solar and wind power as electricity sources is unparalleled when compared to historical data for other energy types.

For instance, it took solar and wind only eight and twelve years, respectively, to surge from generating 100 terawatt hours to 1,000 terawatt hours each year. This rapid development eclipsed that of gas, coal, and hydropower, which took much longer to see similar growth. Despite this headway, solar and wind energy faced a slight slowdown in generation growth during the year, with solar energy’s generation growth not quite keeping pace with the rate of capacity additions, which were at a record high.

Municipal web-portal "Global Trostyanets" of Trostyanets city hromada was founded in May 2026 as a quick response and gratitude to all our international partners who helped our hromada survive after the occupation in 2022 and develop today. To some extent, this is a unique web resource, which has no analogues in Ukraine.

Trostyanets is becoming an example of high-quality reconstruction and resilience. Financial support from the state and international partners has given us the chance to restore the housing stock, equip premises for the accommodation of displaced persons, create modern medical institutions, launch the educational process, revive and develop the municipal sphere.

Today we have already demonstrated that restoration is not only about rebuilding buildings. It is the path to a qualitatively new level of life for municipality! We have become an example for the country and a convincing signal for foreign donors: aid brings tangible changes.
