One of the reliable partners of our municipality, which has extended a helping hand to us almost since the liberation of Trostyanets, is the international AICM Charity Foundation (France-Ukraine), headed by Christian Carrère, a French citizen who sincerely cared about the fate of Ukraine in the most difficult times for it.
Today, this cooperation took another significant step: AICM transferred humanitarian aid worth over a million hryvnias to Trostyanets City Hospital. The packages included vital medicines, medical instruments, hygiene products, walkers for patients, sheets, and even food.
The humanitarian cargo was delivered to the hospital by the head of the AICM Foundation, Tetyana Grebenshchikova, and a team of volunteers. This is the fifth transfer of aid from French philanthropists, which significantly facilitates the work of doctors and improves the conditions for treating patients.
“We are sincerely grateful to the president of the foundation, Christian Carrer, who constantly takes care of our needs, helps us restore the medical infrastructure and does not leave Trostyanets without attention. In our hospital, we feel his support not only in words, but also in real actions,” emphasized Liliya Gontar, General Director of the Trostyanets City Hospital, during a meeting with the philanthropists. “The cooperation of the Trostyanets community with international partners is not only access to resources that are sorely lacking in war conditions, but also a signal: Ukraine is not alone“.
Assistance from foundations such as AICM is a manifestation of humanity, solidarity and faith in our common future.
Against the backdrop of constant threat and destruction, every gesture of support, every box of medicine or food, every trip of volunteers is not just help. This is part of the great international support that helps communities to survive and recover.
