Trostanets received another significant aid package from our German friends and partners. The community received 600 Solarmodul YL-250P-29b solar panels with a nominal capacity of 250 W each, as well as an RTE-50kVA diesel generator with a capacity of 40 kW.
The solar panels were donated by the community of Montabaur, a reliable partner of the Trostyanets community, which has repeatedly supported our residents in difficult times.
Deputy Mayor of Trostyanets Maksym Synyavin said that the panels are planned to be installed at one of the community’s social facilities. This will provide it with an alternative source of electricity and take another important step towards the energy independence of our institutions.
600 such panels are a real opportunity to reduce the load on the power system and ensure the stable operation of important facilities even during power outages.

The community received the RTE-50kVA diesel generator from Ukrainischer Verein Mainz e.V., a Ukrainian association in Mainz that actively supports Ukrainian communities. The Consulate General of Ukraine in Frankfurt am Main provided significant assistance in organizing the transport of the cargo. The city council of Montabaur also assisted in the transport.
Oleksiy Kotko, head of the housing and utilities department, noted that the generator will operate at one of the community’s largest water intakes. Its use will ensure a stable water supply during emergency or planned power outages.
This is especially important for residents, as an uninterrupted water supply is one of the basic needs of every family.

We would like to thank the community of Montabaur @Montabaur erleben and its mayor Melanie Leicher @Melanie Leicher for their effective cooperation and this important energy support. Thanks to your constant support, the Trostyanets community has gained a real opportunity not only to maintain its infrastructure during power outages, but also to lay the foundation for further development. We would like to thank the Ukrainian Association in Mainz as well as the Consulate General of Ukraine in Frankfurt am Main.
The equipment received is not just technology. It is a contribution to the safety, comfort, and stability of life for the people of Trostyanets. Each solar panel and each kilowatt of backup power adds confidence in tomorrow and strengthens the energy independence of the Trostyanets community. Together with such friends and partners, the community will stand strong and continue to develop!
