Today, our friends and partners from Sika Ukraine, a part of the international concern Sika AG, visited the Trostyanets city hromada with a valuable gift – almost 4,000 m2 of high-quality two-layer roofing material.
“Sika Group”, as a global organization, supports those who suffered in these difficult times and continues to contribute to the provision of humanitarian aid, – said Artem Zakharov, Head of the Waterproofing Division of Sika Ukraine, – therefore, together with our Czech branch Sika CZ, which produces roofing materials, we decided to provide your community with assistance in repairing the most affected houses. We are very glad that we can help Ukrainian people rebuild their homes, and we will continue to provide comprehensive assistance”.
“Having heard about the scale of the destruction caused by the Russian military to the Trostyanets city hromada, representatives of Sika Ukraine, a manufacturer of various building materials, approached us with an offer to provide assistance. In the spring, we already received various assistance from this company, and today we are unloading about 4,000 sq m of roofing material, – summed up the mayor Yuriy Bova, – in a week we plan to use this material, which will be enough to cover the damaged apartment buildings on Blagovishchenska Street, 53, Neskuchanka Street, 9, the “Bilochka” kindergarten, as well as the Inpatient ward of Trostyanets City Hospital”.
