Trostyanets city hromada received an extremely important gift – a powerful 30 kW diesel generator. This equipment will become the basis for the energy independence of the future space for the development of Trostyanets youth. The purchase of the generator was financed by the government of Taiwan, and the purchase and transfer were organized by the Association of Ukrainian Cities.
The valuable cargo was personally met by the Mayor of Trostyanets, Yuriy Bova. He said that the generator will be installed in the building of the former treasury, which has already passed into the communal property of the community.
There is a reconstruction project for this facility, after which a modern educational and creative youth space will be created here – a place where the circles of the Palace of Children and Youth, trainings, creative classes, events and activities for youth will be held.
“It is important that this space be as energy independent as possible. At a time when power outages have become a reality, such a generator is critically needed. This is an opportunity to provide children with continuous learning, development and creativity,” the mayor noted.
We sincerely thank the Government and people of Taiwan and the Association of Ukrainian Cities for their support and assistance. Thanks to this generator, our children will be able to continue learning and discover their talents, despite any power outages.
