iC and CES developed a renewable energy-based heating concept for a multi-storey residential building

    In Trostyanets, Sumy region, in a multi-apartment building reconstructed after war-related destruction is now supplied with  space heating and domestic hot water powered by renewable energy sources — heat pumps and a rooftop solar power system.

    The implemented solutions demonstrate the practical application of putting the Zero Gas Strategy into practice — one of the city’s key development directions embedded in the Trostianets Master Plan, developed by iC consulenten and CES clean energy solutions in cooperation with international experts in 2022.

    The heating modernization project was financed by donors — Green Planet Energy, the Greenpeace Environmental Foundation, and Greenpeace e.V.

    iC consulenten and CES clean energy solutions developed the modernisation concept and supported the implementation of the new heating system.
