Trostanets is developing cooperation with Japanese partners. Today, a truck arrived in Trostanets from Japan! This truck is in good technical condition and was donated as charitable aid to municipal services by the TAKEEI corporation and its president, Mitsuo Abe.
The ceremony took place on September 18, 2025, at the TAKEEI Corporation headquarters. The truck was then delivered to the port of Yokohama, and on September 30, it departed for the Belgian port, from where it was delivered to Kyiv by land transport. After traveling a huge distance, the truck arrived in Trostyanets.
As noted by the head of the Housing and Utilities Department, Oleksiy Kotko, the vehicle will be transferred to the Clean City enterprise for land work, transportation of crushed stone mixture, removal of damaged and dead wood, etc.

Incidentally, this is not the first time Japan has provided assistance to Trostyanets. Thanks to the support of Japanese partners from various cities, the Trostyanets community has received generators, an ambulance, and a street lighting project is currently being implemented, and Japan PPP/PFI Association, in particular its president, Kazuo Ueda, who actively supports initiatives for the benefit of the Trostyanets community.
