In December 2021, the Trostyanets City Council developed and published the Community Investment Passport-2021.
The document was created to attract investors’ attention to the industrial and tourism potential of the community of Sumy region, including an inventory of municipal property and land plots.
Key facts about the Trostyanets Investment Passport (2021):
- Goal: Creating a positive image and attracting business.
- Context: Developed within the framework of the “Business-Friendly Community” project with the support of the EU (U-LEAD with Europe Program).
- Content: Includes data on industrial facilities, infrastructure, a map of investment land plots and an industrial park.




The main task of the Investment Passport is open and convenient access to real information about the socio-economic situation of the community, investment proposals, economic opportunities, as well as the popularization of investment potential, contributing to the formation of a favorable investment image of the Trostyanets territorial community of Sumy region.
The investment passport is focused on attracting both domestic and foreign investments, and also provides comprehensive information for a potential investor about natural and geographical characteristics, community management system, labor, industrial, tourist and recreational potential, and environmental condition.
The Investment Passport of Trostyanets City Hromada (Sumy oblast) was prepared with the support of the European Union and its Member States Germany, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Estonia and Slovenia.
