Trostianets City Council’s cooperation with various international partners continues, and new projects are being implemented every day. They are aimed at the restoration, development and comprehensive development of our community. One of the most powerful partners of Trostyanets city hromada is the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, which has already implemented several large-scale projects in our community, such as the installation and equipment of a modular polyclinic, the installation of solar power plants, assistance to utilities, doctors, educational institutions, etc.

Yesterday, within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Municipalities in the Areas of Vital Services Infrastructure and Housing in Ukraine” funded by the German government and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Trostianets city hromada received a modular pellet boiler house with a capacity of about 200 kW for autonomous heat supply to a social infrastructure facility.

The modular pellet boiler house is designed for autonomous heat supply (water heating) of residential, civil and public facilities; for heating water in closed heating systems to a temperature not exceeding 95°C by burning solid fuel in the form of pellets with a diameter of 6-12 mm and a moisture content of no more than 10%. The boiler house will be able to operate on wood pellets with an ash content of up to 2.0% and agro-pellets (sunflower husks).
“The boiler house is a complex consisting of a modular building, the main heat-generating equipment (boilers), smoke removal equipment, as well as auxiliary equipment of the hydraulic system and the automatic control system of the boiler house,” said Oleksiy Kotko, Head of the Housing and Utilities Department. – “The boiler house will be used to heat the premises of the Cultural Services Center and the Trostyanets Children’s Music School named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, which will significantly save money on heating and make these buildings independent of the centralized heating system.
The boiler house will be equipped with automation that controls its operation at a level that allows the boiler house staff to work in a “periodic” mode, i.e. the constant presence of personnel during the operation of the boiler house to monitor it is not necessary and is of a periodic nature.

We are grateful to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for their help and support, for their solidarity with Ukraine and attention to the Trostyanets city! Each project is another step towards our Victory and a peaceful future!
