Trostyanets City Council has been effectively cooperating with the international charitable organization Medair for a long time in such important areas as healthcare and social protection of the population.
It was Medair that financed the repair of a new car for the Center for Social Services, which was broken by Russian thugs during the occupation. So the specialists were able to resume trips to the Starostyn districts in order to provide social services to people who need it most.
And here is another aid for the municipal institution “Center for Social Services”: two electric scooters.
“This aid is extremely important for us,” says the director of the Center, Olga Shakhova. “Since last year, our work has increased, as new wards – internally displaced persons – have been added. There are currently 132 of them on the register. We are examining their living conditions and studying their needs. The vehicles we received will help us cover a larger number of families with examinations.”
The head noted that one electric scooter will be provided to a social worker who works in rural areas, serving the wards of the Social Services Center in Lyudzhy, Nytsas, Soldatske, and Kamianets. The second electric scooter will be given to an auxiliary worker who performs minor repairs in the homes of Trostyanets residents who are being served by this social institution.
