The International Rescue Committee (IRC) has been working with the Trostyanets city hromada for almost a year, and this support is making a tangible difference in the lives of residents.
During this time, hromada has received important assistance in various areas. The Fortitude mobile clinic operates in the villages, where patients can undergo examinations, take tests, receive results, and even receive free medications — all in one day. City’s doctors participated in stress management and burnout prevention training organized by the IRC. The organization also provides free legal assistance to war victims and helps arrange care for people in need of social services.

IRC also supports infrastructure development: building materials were donated for roof repairs at the Kamyanka Primary Health Care Center and other facilities of the Trostyanets Central Primary Health Care Center, and modular FAP houses were installed in the villages of Oleksyne, Krynychne, and Martynovka.
An important step in the partnership was donation of two Mitsubishi cars to the Trostyanets Central Primary Health Care Center. The new cars will allow family doctors to get to patients faster and more efficiently, especially in remote settlements. After all, a quality car for a doctor is not a luxury, but a necessity that can save more than one life.
“We are sincerely grateful to our international partners with IRC for their constant support and attention to the needs of the community. The new cars will guarantee that medical care will become more accessible to every resident, even in the most remote village,” emphasized Svitlana Loboda, General Director of the Trostyanets Central Primary Health Care Center.
Trostyanets city hromada expresses sincere gratitude to the benefactors for their multifaceted cooperation, which helps strengthen the healthcare and social support system and makes the lives of residents more secure even in difficult wartime.
