Today, the Trostyanets City Council was visited by designers from Envitek LLC: Director Viktor Mykhailovsky and Chief Architect Oleksiy Popov, who presented for discussion the concept of building residential areas along Neskuchny Street and near the former sports center, the historical and cultural reserve “Ancient Border” in the village of Bogolyubov, the organization of a park area in Neskuchne, as well as the renovation of public space and the city council building.

The meeting, which was held by Mayor Yuriy Bova, was attended by educators, doctors, cultural specialists, heads of municipal enterprises, representatives of the public, and the Trostyanets City Council staff. The director of the regional department of urban planning and architecture, Volodymyr Bykov, also took part in the discussion.
The designers, who have been working on this large-scale project for several months, have proposed for discussion visualizations of five locations in the Trostyanets community: the construction of a residential neighborhood on Neskuchanska Street; the development of the territory near the former sports center with country houses; the modern reconstruction of the city council building and the space around it; the training center for innovative technologies with an ethno-settlement and a scientific and educational station in the village of Bogolyubov; and the concept of improving the coastal zone around the lakes in the Neskuchne arboretum.

A new residential complex will appear on Neskuchanska Street, which the developers propose to build with modern three-four-story houses, create a park area and full-fledged infrastructure. This complex will be created in such a way that residents can comfortably live, work, have fun and shop without having to leave its borders. All houses were designed in a modern style with retro elements, are energy-efficient, convenient and aesthetically attractive.
In the Neskuchne tract, for the convenience of visitors, the designers proposed to arrange an additional third dam, decorative elements on all dams, pontoons for recreation on the lakes, strengthening the coastal zone and creating full-fledged pedestrian and bicycle paths throughout the entire territory of the arboretum.
Not far from the former sports center, a full-fledged street with cottages that will be energy-efficient and picturesque will be located.

Particular attention was attracted by the visualization of objects in the village of Bogolyubov, where the architects propose to build a modern training center for innovative technologies with a scientific and educational station, a museum, horse stables and an ethno-village, which will be used for scientific events, festivals and other events.
In addition, the developers presented options for modernizing the city council building, including thermal modernization and creating a modern space around the building with areas for recreation and communication.
The participants of the meeting addressed many questions to both Kyiv architects and the mayor.
In particular, a lively discussion took place regarding the arrangement of residential areas with communications: water supply, sewage, and whether such a large-scale development in Neskuchny would cause damage to the arboretum and water bodies. The mayor answered this question:
“Today, the community has inherited old and worn-out sewage treatment plants from the previous government, which were built back in Soviet times. Before the start of the full-scale invasion, the process of reconstruction of the sewage treatment plants was started, but due to martial law, it was not completed. This issue with the construction of new residential complexes will of course be resolved, part of the wastewater will be directed through the collector on B. Khmelnytsky Street, which will allow the sewage treatment plants on Naberezhnaya Street to be unloaded, so the ecosystem around Neskuchny is not threatened.”
“I can honestly say that in the last few years there has not been such a large-scale project in the Sumy region,” noted the chief architect of the region, Volodymyr Bykov, “a large-scale, relevant project. Today, our reality is such that we are forced to make fateful decisions, decisions that are quick and relevant. Today, we are building the architecture of a new state, the image of this state. Behind such restructuring is our future, because we need to strive to realize dreams through daily hard work. Today, your talent as architects has been revealed, who have shown that we need to look not at our feet, but forward. And the Trostyanets city hromda is showing other communities an example of how to rebuild, how to rebuild after destruction, how a community can unleash its potential, using existing territorial resources for future development.” Mayor Yuriy Bova thanked the creative team of Envitek LLC for their excellent creative work.
“What has been done today is a colossal work of designers who were able to see, consider, evaluate and arrange every detail, and visualize it in the form of a finished concept. We see five projects in front of us, but they are part of one whole. And this is the future of our community.
After all, if we have projects, we can offer them to various foundations, organizations, developers, etc. And it is very important that here we combine residential areas with areas for recreation and work.
