Today, new friends of our city arrived in Trostyanets, delivering an important humanitarian cargo – two electric transformers. This equipment will help ensure the uninterrupted operation of water supply systems during power outages, which is especially relevant for border areas.
This cargo was the result of joint efforts of the Polish charity Dobry Czlowiek and the Swedish company Tidaholms Energi, which specializes in the supply of electricity and utilities in the city of Tidaholm. The company is known for its focus on sustainable development and the use of renewable energy sources, such as sun, wind and water. All their contracts provide for the supply of 100% renewable energy.
The head of Tidaholms Energi, Magnus Sjögren, personally supported the initiative to transfer transformers to Ukraine. This is not the first time that Swedish energy companies have provided assistance to Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Sweden has donated over 1,357 tons of energy equipment, including hundreds of generators, transformers and other devices, to restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
The delivery of the transformers to Trostyanets municipality was organized by Ms. Magda from Warsaw, a representative of the Polish charity Dobry Czlowiek, who has already come to Ukraine 25 times with humanitarian missions. Her dedication to helping Ukrainians is truly admirable.
Ms. Iwona Popchak, who has repeatedly organized assistance to the Trostyanets city hromada, also played a significant role in the implementation of this project.
Trostyanets Mayor Yuriy Bova expressed his sincere gratitude to all benefactors:

These transformers are not just equipment, but a guarantee of stable water supply for thousands of residents of Trostianets in difficult war conditions. Trostianets will remember your support,” the head of Trostyanets city hromada said, personally meeting our guests.
